About

In 2022, Big John Matthews of Glowing Dial Radio put out a call for Jack Benny enthusiasts to help him recreate a classic Benny episode for the 2nd annual Jack Benny Convention. After three whirlwind weeks creating their episode, the individuals who showed up were dubbed the "At the Last Minute Players" and made plans to expand their group for future shows. Later in 2022, the troupe added new members and took on a new name: No Soap Radio, in honor of the classic joke.Despite living across the United States (with guest stars in Canada), the No Soap Radio team is a tightly-knit group of Old Time Radio enthusiasts who use various software applications to rehearse, record, edit, mix and publish our programs. Each episode is edited to work as an audio-only experience, but we make sure to include top-notch videos to give you the option to watch along, too!
